The two thought they would be competing in their respective quarter-finals on Sunday, around one week later than the original date schedule, due to Leonis taking on a Kent Select on 25 November.
Leonis coach Dave Thompson explained that he had a verbal agreement with their opponents which was sanctioned by London ABA’s Keith Walters to say that they would instead hold the quarter-final, and semi-final, on 4 December.
However, last Saturday Thompson was informed that their opponents had decided to go back on the agreement and hold the weigh-in on the original date.
