Shadine Duquemin won the discus with a throw over 35 metres and Felicity Johnson-Deeley took first place in the 1500 metres, winning by a margin of over 200 metres.
Johnson-Deeley went into an early lead and extended the advantage with each lap to leave the opposition trailing in her wake. Her time of 4 minutes 41 seconds was just a second-and-a-half outside the British Cup qualification mark she and coach Andrew Winnie were hoping for.
Sam Dawkins finished seventh in the 400 metres and Molly Jehan also placed seventh in the 100 metres. Andrew Winnie said he was delighted for two of his squad to pick up gold medals.
The success of the athletes at the Principes de Espana Stadium leaves the girls currently in third position overall.
