He said that the staff deserved to know what has been going on in case he is ousted from his post as minister. In his covering note, he told staff he would be sad to leave because of the all the important work that was being done. The emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held tomorrow afternoon on the ninth floor of Cyril Le Marquand House. ‘If they have got any sense, they will put it down to experience. I am beyond the state of actually caring,’ he said. Mimicking the Catherine Tate character schoolgirl Lauren, the Senator said: ‘Look at this face, am I bovvered?’
