A collared dove in St Ouen has decided to forego the tranquillity of the countryside and make its nest atop a set of traffic lights outside the parish hall.

The JSPCA are asking the public not to disturb the bird, as any eggs it has laid will hatch within the next few weeks. Anyone concerned for the bird’s welfare should call the charity on 724331.
