POLICE are appealing for information on a near-collision at the junction between David Place and Stopford Road.
The incident, which took place on the evening of Friday 17 April between 10pm and 10.15pm between a silver VW Golf and a Jeep-type vehicle.
Police officers believe the Golf was driven in a way that meant it had to swerve to avoid a collision with the Jeep.
They are now looking for anyone with information about the incident, including dashcam or CCTV footage or information on the cars’ “manner of driving”. This could come from pedestrians, residents or other motorists, they said.
