Jersey Bulls launch third-kit shortlist for supporter vote

The Bulls’ kit suppliers, Kappa Sportswear, came up with various designs which have now been reduced to a shortlist of four, with supporters now having the final say. All four designs are intended to incorporate the colours of Bulls’ gold sponsor, Butterfield Bank.

The vote offers a dose of escapism for Jersey Bulls and their fans, following the disappointment of learning that their record-breaking 100% inaugural season in Combined Counties League Division I had been ruled null and void by the Football Association following disruptions caused by the Covid-19 outbreak.

‘It’s been a difficult time for everyone on the Island and our thoughts go out to those affected by coronavirus,’ said Bulls’ director Ian Horswell.

‘In the absence of matches, we wanted to involve our fans as much as possible as we all look ahead to the new season. It is our way of showing them how greatly we value their continued support.

‘Butterfield have also been immensely supportive of the Bulls and we wanted to give something back and display the Bank’s new branding by utilising their colours in our new third strip. This was a really fun and creative way to get involved and we are really pleased with the shortlisted designs.’

All voters will be automatically entered into a competition to win a replica of the winning shirt design and a pair of tickets to a home match of their choice.

The poll – available via www.bulls.je – closes on 30 April 2020.
