Restoring my faith in the church – well, just a little
I HAVE a feeling that it was Herself who coined the phrase that I had to be dragged ‘kicking and screaming’ into places of worship – no matter what denomination – and while the comment is not entirely accurate (because I have attended services as diverse as those associated with hatched, matched and despatched and even on a few occasions things like nine lessons and nine carols) it is as close as makes no difference to my attitude towards religion.
