Man taken to hospital after being hit by car in St Helier

A 29-YEAR-OLD pedestrian was taken to hospital after suffering a fractured ankle in a collision with a car in St Helier.

The man was walking near the Bacchus Bar and St James’s Church, near St Saviour’s Road, when he was hit by a silver VW driven by a 22-year-old man.

Anyone with information about the incident, which happened at about 5.30pm on Wednesday 20 December, is being asked to phone the States police on 612612 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
