Stars on high again

Making their 28th appearance in the event they faced competition from new team, Manchester, in the final and won three of the five matches to secure victory.

The competition came to an end for the Jersey Giants in the group stage as, with only the top team progressing, they came unstuck against Manchester losing 3-2 in a thrilling clash to finish second overall.

They earlier beat Copenhagen 3-2 and completed a 5-0 hammering of London-based team Achilles Healed.

Jersey team player, and Jersey Squash Club coach, Nick Taylor said: ‘The festival is always a great event and it was again this year. We had around 250 people and 40 teams taking part which was pretty much the same numbers as last year so that was good.’
