CLINTON Woods is nothing less than world champion material, says his trainer Glyn Rhodes.
The Sheffield lad is an example of everything a belt-holder should be – and Rhodes says there is no question he deserves to earn back his IBF light heavyweight boxing title.
The pair have been locked in an intensive training schedule since early December and Woods claims he is in the shape of his life.
Rhodes said: ‘The one thing you always want a fighter to be is happy – when you’re happy, you perform well. And if Clinton’s happy, then I’m happy. He has done everything he needs to do – he’s a perfect trainer.’
The pair held an open training session at South Hill gym yesterday in final preparation for Woods’ clash with Kosovo Kid Elvir Muriqi at Hotel de France on Saturday.
