There were two individual medal winning performances, a bronze medal for the under-13 girls’ team, and an unprecedented six athletes who secured a place to represent Hampshire at the UK Inter-Counties competition in March.
Danielle Leerson stormed to a silver medal in the under-13 girls’ 2.5 km race in her first Hampshire Championship to secure a place in the county team.

The U13 girls’ team, led home by Leerson, which also featured Lauren Lowe (14th), Anna Fenton (17th) and Elena Mather (18th) put in a great overall performance to win team bronze with 51 points, just a single point behind second placed Southampton.
