Flowers flying high in Australia

Mrs Tarrant has won the Australian Government Micro-business prize for Western Australian companies employing five people or fewer in the nationwide Telstra Small Business Awards.

Her company, also called Flying Flowers, is based in Perth, Western Australia.

It sells flowers, hampers and wine, chiefly to customers in the UK, but has no direct connection with the Jersey operation now known as Flying Brands.
