The criterium, sponsored by the JEP, in association with Rubis, was originally set up in 2009 to encourage more young cyclists into the Jersey Cycling Association Youth Academy (JCAYA) and, on the back of a golden era for British cycling; four of the fresh faced hopefuls are ready to race.

Charlotte Turner (16), Ben Le Brocq (17), Ryan O’Shea (16) and Jordan Sewrey (17) will be taking part in this weekend’s events with the latter three all taking part in the men’s support criterium and Turner competing in the ladies’ criterium on Sunday. Le Brocq and O’Shea will also be competing in the road race on Monday.
