The 15-year-old finished second overall girl with her outstanding swim in the 100m freestyle where she clocked 58.30 seconds. Other records fell in the 50m freestyle and the 400m freestyle.

Along with those gold medals she also finished first in the 800m free and won three silver medals and two bronze.

Such a performance means the teenager will go into next month’s Olympic trials full of confidence as she prepares to take on Britain’s best.

She was one of a number of AIB Tigers swimmers who performed well at the event.

Meanwhile four Island records were broken at the KPMG Channel Islands Championships at Les Quennevais last weekend.
