A RECRUITMENT process to appoint a new public spending watchdog is underway.
The Comptroller and Auditor General is responsible for providing audit assurance and insight to the States Assembly.
Current post-holder Lynn Pamment CBE is due to conclude her seven-year fixed term of office in December 2026.
As the third serving Comptroller and Auditor General for Jersey, Ms Pamment was recognised in the King’s New Year Honours List last year for her contribution to public sector financial reporting.
A process is now underway to find a new Comptroller and Auditor General to serve for seven years from 1 January 2027.
The successful candidate will be paid £891.19 per day plus flights, accommodation and expenses.
They are expected to work 145 days per calendar year, with approximately 50 to 60 of those days in Jersey.
Applications are due to close on Monday 6 October 2025.
