LUNCH with the Chief Minister is on offer as part of the 2022 Jersey Christmas Appeal auction.

The lot, described as a ‘unique opportunity for a one-to-one discussion’ with Deputy Kristina Moore – over a three-course meal with wine – is among the hundreds of experiences and items being bid on.

Other lots include a round of golf with Masters winner and former Ryder Cup captain Ian Woosnam OBE, a signed Red Bull undervest worn by multiple-time F1 World Champion Max Verstappen and a luxury champagne sailing experience.

Fiona Walker, one of the auction co-ordinators, said: ‘It’s going brilliantly so far because of the generosity of those who have donated items and experiences, and we have already had some very generous bids on some of the lots.’

She added: ‘However, there is still time left and some great bargains to be had.’

Islanders and businesses have donated over 200 lots, and the funds raised for the appeal are used to provide food, fuel and toy vouchers for Islanders needing help over the Christmas period.

Bids are being accepted at jerseychristmasappeal.je, with the auction due to remain online until tomorrow, when the finale is broadcast live on Channel 103.

– All the lots are listed in an eight-page pull-out published in today’s JEP.
