The department has published its half-year corporate report detailing States finances at the end of June, which it says are ‘on target’.

The report shows that general revenue income is forecast for the year to be £2m below the original budget while expenditure is expected to be £20.9m better than forecast, with no departments predicting overspends.

Commenting on the half-year report, Treasury Minister Philip Ozouf said that the figures were good news ahead of the Budget for next year, which is due to be made public in a few weeks.
