Constable race in town adds fifth runner

A FIFTH candidate for Constable of St Helier emerged as the full list of candidates for June’s election was published.

Alvin Aaron, owner of food delivery business Hot Stuff Pizza, will contest the vacancy against Deputies Rob Ward, Inna Gardiner, David Warr and Mark Le Chevalier.

The former pupil at St Mark’s and St Helier Boys Schools returned to Jersey in 1990 after spending time in England.

While Mr Aaron’s declaration on the vote.je website did not focus on his campaign issues, he is expected to provide more details during the build-up to polling day.
