The Jersey-sponsored portrait entitled Equanimity was commissioned by Jersey Heritage and created by light artist Chris Levine and holographer Rob Munday to mark the Island’s 800-year-old links with the Crown in 2004.
Since then, the image has achieved world-wide fame including being given a place in the National Portrait Gallery’s exhibition The Queen: Art and Image, and featured on the front cover of all international editions of Time Magazine out this week including those in Asia.
Today’s unveiling will be attended by the Bailiff Michael Birt, Lieutenant-Governor General Sir John McColl, Chief Minister Ian Gorst and Treasury Minister Philip Ozouf. Also present, will be States Treasurer Laura Rowley and Jersey Post chairman Mike Liston.
