Yesterday the Deputy said that he was happy to support the proposal on the condition that the ‘upper render’ is changed to a different colour to the lower.

At the public ministerial meeting at South Hill the public – some of them elderly – were forced to stand as there were not enough seats as a smaller than usual meeting room was used. The minister apologised for the situation before continuing with the meeting.

The planning officer recommended that the scheme by Robert Limbrick Architects be approved.
