For director of squash Taylor it was, on paper at least, a relatively smooth journey to the silverware, as the top seed won all four of his matches in straight sets at the National Squash Centre in Manchester.
However, having focused a lot less time on training, due to his coaching commitments, he explained that it was, in fact, tougher than it seemed.
