As well as the respective championship titles to play for, there is also the fact of catching the eye of the Island’s selectors ahead of the 38th inter-insular next month, in Jersey.
Squads have this week been announced, but who will play in the A and B men’s and women’s team against Guernsey is still to be decided.
The Island Championships will be played next week evening night from Tuesday culminating in the finals on Saturday at the Recreation Ground at St Clement.
