The 19-year-old former Beaulieu student, Jersey’s current Miss Battle of Flowers, had an excellent weekend defeating leading compound archers Nicky Hunt and Nicola Simpson to take the cash prize of one thousand dollars.
The head-to-head shoots were decided over a new scoring format with two points for an end and with the match tied at six points each it was decided with three arrows each with the nearest to the middle of the target winning.
O’Sullivan secured her place in the final with her third and final arrow. The Jersey teenager kept her composure in the final to win by nine points to three against the experienced Simpson.
