Jersey Post have described dog attacks on staff as a ‘serious problem’.
Last week in St Martin a postman was bitten while on his round and was left with a ripped shirt and his arm dripping with blood.
Figures released by Jersey Post show that in the past 12 months dogs have bitten postal staff on 16 occasions, up from seven the year before.
