Queen's Valley Picture: JON GUEGAN

From Malcolm Ray.

A RECENT Voice of the JEP leader column mentioned that we need another reservoir.

Unfortunately, previous governments have failed to control population and immigration, leading to a lot of the problems of the present we now encounter.

We have been told that 7,000 more units of accommodation need to be built by 2030. This will put even more strain on Jersey Water.

You never hear the green lobbyists mention this, despite them wanting fewer cars, and people being greener and carbon neutral.

Finally, if the present government do not make this one of their priorities, what next, yet another reservoir and thousands more units of accommodation after 2030, plus more cars and traffic, together with at least another school or two?
