The Met Office has issued an orange tide warning – the second highest weather warning – with tides expected to be over 11 metres.
High tide is scheduled for 6.21pm on Friday evening and 6.53am on Saturday morning.
The Met Office warning said that water and debris can be expected on roads along the south and west coast while some flooding may occur.
