Cyclist suffers suspected broken ankle in collision

The 59-year-old was taken to hospital after he collided with a white Nissan van driven by a 52-year-old man at the junction of the Parade and Cannon Street at about 4.45 pm on Tuesday.

Later, at about 9.15 pm, a silver Mitsubishi Colt driven by a 17-year-old man collided with a white Dacia driven by a 27-year-old woman at the junction of St Clement’s Road and Route du Fort.

A teenage passenger in the Colt suffered minor injuries, according to the States police.
