A CAFE-AND-MUSIC school has been announced as a new partner for the Santander Work Café – promising lunch and evening offerings.
Red House, whose facilities at West Centre host a café and pizzeria as well as the Channel Islands’s only Yamaha music school, will take over the space at Charing Cross.
The announcement comes after Cargo Coffee Shop left the venue after eight years, with its owners citing a personal decision to “embrace a slower pace” after two decades in hospitality.
Owner Charlie Northedge previously ran the site as Chordz until 2023, when it was turned into Red House.
On social media, Red House said: “You’ll now be able to get our great coffee, delicious food and smiling staff at Santander’s work café.”
The Wests Centre location would continue to stay open, it added.
In a social media post announcing Red House as their new partner, the Santander Work Café said it would be welcoming Islanders “from your first coffee of the day to a relaxed lunch or evening bite”.
“Bringing a fresh approach to coffee and food, Red House is now part of the Work Café experience,” it said.
