The ORA Winter Netball League concluded this week with final games being played to confirm the standings in each division.
Division 1

St Clement A 41-26 Accies B
St Clement A underlined their Division 1 credentials with a composed 41–26 victory over a youthful Accies B side.
Sharp movement through the court proved decisive, with St Clement converting chances clinically. Ella Vieira impressed in goal with key interceptions, while Cerys O’Connell and Brooke Jarrett applied relentless defensive pressure.
Emily Reynolds and Nadia Lopes fed the circle well, allowing shooters Jade Dingle and Player of the Match Megan Hamilton to thrive, the latter showing real composure from range.
Accies, fielding several stand-ins, battled gamely throughout, showing resilience despite the scoreline in a spirited display.
Division 2

St Lawrence C 75-40 St Ouen A
St Lawrence C signed off their Division 2 campaign in style with a dominant 75–40 win over St Ouen A.
From the first whistle, St Lawrence controlled proceedings, with Sophie Carter and Clem Turner-Powell combining superbly under the post. Midcourt pair Ann-Marie Pereira and Elise Huckerby ensured a steady supply into the circle.
Defensively, Annie Martin, Rachel Baugh, Rebecca Berry and Jackie Pannenborg applied relentless pressure to force turnovers.
St Ouen, bolstered by stand-ins, showed flashes of quality, with Lucy Fox feeding Jess Garner and Zoe Barrett-Banks.
A confident, all-round display capped St Lawrence’s season in emphatic fashion.
Division 3

St Clement C 66-17 St Ouen C
St Clement C rounded off their Division 3 season in style, securing a convincing 66–17 win over St Ouen C to confirm a runners-up finish.
Beth Shepherd made a strong return at centre, driving play and feeding accurately, while Chloe Ham-Howes earned Player of the Match for her clinical shooting. Jane Wright added further strength in attack.
St Ouen’s defence, led by Player of the Match Katherine Wilson, worked hard to disrupt play, while Mel Noon and Elisa Da Silva converted chances.
Despite the scoreline, St Ouen showed determination and teamwork throughout in a spirited performance.
St Ouen B 37-34 St Lawrence D
St Ouen B edged a thrilling season finale, holding off St Lawrence D 37–34 in a closely fought contest.
St Ouen made a strong start, with Player of the Match Lucy Fox linking well with Jasmine Le Lievre, Sarah Attwood and Zoe Barrett-Banks to build an early lead.
St Lawrence responded with determination, led by Player of the Match Caroline Rodrigues, whose defensive efforts kept them firmly in contention.
With the lead changing hands, the game remained on a knife edge. However, St Ouen’s experience told in the closing stages, as they held firm to secure a hard-fought victory.
