THE ORA Winter Netball league was back in action after the half term break, as teams reach the final stretch of the competition. With just two matches remaining for most teams, the fight for the top spots across all divisions remains fierce.
Division 1

Convent A 64 – 22 Accies A
The Division One leaders produced a composed display to see off a spirited Accies A. Rosie Tonner and Player of the Match Madison Fitzgerald-Wilkins were clinical in the circle, expertly supplied by Toni Chaytor and Mollie Luce. Layla dos Santos injected pace and turnovers, while Florence Allo and Molly Carre stood firm at the back. Slick ball speed, sharp movement and seamless positional switches kept Convent in control throughout to secure a deserved victory.
Convent B 34 – 33 St Saviour A
Convent B edged a thrilling 34–33 win over St Saviour B in a nail-biter. POTM Amelia Coutanche and Millie Pratt anchored a versatile defence, creating key interceptions, while Leah Cannard linked superbly with Yara Rodrigues in attack. Late changes, including Kiah Kuppe’s defensive debut and Alex Perry at GS, proved decisive as Convent held on for a one-goal victory in an end-to-end contest.

Division 2

Convent C 39 – 31 St Ouen A
Convent C stormed to a win over St Ouen A despite early setbacks and re-shuffles. St Ouen’s Lisa Neil, Katie Le Herissier, and Dani Van Neste held firm early, with Jess Garner linking the court. But Convent’s POTM Bella Woodruff, Julie Gould, and Paige Mason’s slick feeds turned turnovers into goals, pulling away in the final quarter for a commanding eight-goal victory.

St Saviour B 36 – 61 St Lawrence B
St Lawrence B cruised to a commanding 61–36 win over St Saviour B. Evie Le Breton dominated centre court to earn Player of the Match, supported by Gemma Larose and Megan Pratesi, while Grace Butler and Shannon Carr fed the circle with precision. Katie Alves impressed for St Saviour B but couldn’t stem the St Lawrence flow.
St Lawrence C 59 – 45 Accies C
St Lawrence raced to victory over Accies C, leading by two after the first quarter and never looking back. Rachel Baugh, Annie Martin, and Becca Berry wreaked havoc defensively, while Elise Huckerby’s pinpoint feeds set up POTM Clem Turner-Powell, who converted with clinical accuracy to extend the lead throughout.

Division 3

Accies E 49 – 42 St Ouen B
Accies E edged out St Ouen B in a close 49-42 win to remain 1 point clear atop Division 3. Both teams started fast, trading goals, with Michala Graham’s sharp feeds giving St Ouen a one-goal first-quarter lead. Accies responded with tactical shifts, building momentum through confident shooting and tight defence. Emma Le Main and Lucy Fox kept St Ouen in contention with crucial interceptions, but Accies’ disciplined play and seamless transitions, led by POTM Ava Huish, secured the win. Sarah Atwood impressed for St Ouen with clever feeds and accurate shooting in a fiercely contested yet friendly encounter.

St Brelade B 47 – 32 St Clement B
St Brelade B delivered a commanding 47–32 victory over St Clement B in a fiery clash to remain in the title hunt. From the first whistle, they set the pace, with midfielders pressing hard, intercepting passes, and moving the ball sharply through the court. In the shooting circle, POTM Brady Morris remained composed under pressure, converting key goals against a stubborn St Clement defence. Defensively, St Brelade’s team effort was outstanding, with timely interceptions and smart positioning keeping their opponents’ shooters on edge. A complete, disciplined performance saw them secure a well-deserved win and maintain their top-of-the-table form.
St Ouen C 15 – 47 St Lawrence D
St Ouen C battled bravely against St Lawrence D despite being down to eight players due to illness and injury. Players often covered unfamiliar positions, with Lyn Parris switching between shooting, defending, and mid-court. Despite the 47–15 scoreline, the team showed skill and composure. Sally Parker earned POTM for her determination and interceptions, while Caroline Rodrigues impressed for St Lawrence D.
Division 4

St Lawrence E 19 – 44 Accies F
Accies F continued their title charge with a commanding 44-19 win over St Lawrence E. Accies move now to six wins from seven this season and are now five points clear atop the division. St Lawrence will remain in the hunt for their second win of the season and hopefully, a chance to move off bottom spot.
St Saviour C 21 – 29 Convent D
St Saviour C lost ground on the title race after going down 21-29 to Convent D. St Saviour lost their third game of the season, leaving them now five points adrift of Accies F at the league summit, while Convent D moved themselves above St Lawrence E and off the league bottom.
