JERSEY Bulls Women made it four wins on the bounce with a commanding 7-1 victory away to Milford & Whitley, marking their first triumph on the road this season.
Heading into the fixture, the Bulls anticipated a stern test against an unbeaten side fresh from a remarkable 15-1 win over Guildford Saints earlier in the month.
However, the Jersey outfit rose to the challenge in emphatic fashion, producing another composed and confident display to maintain their perfect start in the South East Counties Womens Football League Surrey Division 1.

As the Jersey Bulls Women stepped out in their new purple and white away kit, they did so with the same confidence and quality that has defined their recent run of form — and they duly delivered another commanding performance.
Captain Holly Sundby once again set the tone, opening the scoring after just eight minutes to make it four consecutive games with a goal. Head coach, Chad Morris, described it as a ‘trademark Sundby finish’ with the midfielder timing her late run to perfection before slotting home with trademark composure.
The Bulls were relentless in the first half, dictating play and creating chances at will. Hannah Lynam doubled the lead with a neat finish, before Ella Brennand rose highest to head home from a clever short-corner routine. By the interval, the visitors held a comfortable three-goal cushion, fully deserving of their advantage.
The second half saw no let-up in tempo, with the Bulls’ attacking rhythm continuing to cause problems. Anita Tavares struck twice, her first just five minutes after the restart, showing clinical instincts inside 18-yard-box.
Leah Morris then added her name to the scoresheet with a thunderous long-range effort, her sixth of the season, rifling into the top corner from 30 yards.
The hosts only goal came from substitute Taylor Salton in the 88th minute, her consolation goal was a deserved one.
To cap off a near-perfect afternoon, Sofia Rodrigues found the net on the stroke of full-time, rounding off another emphatic display from a side brimming with confidence.
Despite the impressive margin of victory, Morris was sure to mention that the scoreline was slightly flattering, stating: “It was a real good test, it was a proper away day. We scored inside the first ten minutes, and then it was a case of really digging in, battling, and being good in possession.”
“We won those second balls in the first half an hour, we then score the second and third, and they started to run out of steam a bit.” Morris continued.
Morris was full of praise for the effort that his side put in, stating: “When the players come to us on Friday, they train hard, they work hard for their local clubs too, and I don’t think these results are a coincidence.”
“We played really well, especially considering the conditions of the pitch, we outbattled them. We got the ball down in wide areas and played some really good football. It’s definitely a good result as they were also unbeaten before the weekend.”
