But it appears fans could be waving goodbye to two of the longest-serving members of the current squad.
Number 9s Joel Dudley and Kieran Hardy have committed their immediate future to the Reds, as have back rower Max Argyle, lock Dave McKern and centre George Eastwell. However, hooker Joe Buckle and versatile back Lewis Robling look set to depart the Channel Islands this summer.
Buckle, who joined from Bath in January 2013, initially on loan as a flanker, is rumoured to be linking up with former Reds forwards coach Steve Boden at Yorkshire Carnegie, while Welshman Robling, who arrived in the summer of 2014, appears to be joining Ealing Trailfinders.
Existing contracts will take six players into 2017/18, with James Voss, Uili Kolo’ofa’i, Jake Woolmore, Brendan Cope, Jordan Davies and Ayron Schramm all confirmed as members of the Islanders’ squad for next season.
