The club announced yesterday that Harvey had stepped down from his role as director of rugby with immediate effect, with forwards coach Steve Boden taking interim charge of the playing affairs.
Boden’s first challenge is tomorrow’s trip to The Mennaye Field, in Penzance, to face Greene King IPA Championship rivals Cornish Pirates, in the British & Irish Cup.
The interim head coach has been impressed with the way the squad have quickly switched their focus from off-field distractions to preparing for an important game.
‘The boys trained really well yesterday and are very focused on Saturday’s game,’ he said.
