After finishing the season slightly disappointed that he had not already jumped the required 7.37 metres, the Jersey Spartan has declared it his number one goal.
The jump must be recorded at a certain standard of competition before 2 June next year in order to register as a qualifying distance with the Commonwealth Games Federation.
