The 25-year-old missed out on an automatic card place after finishing one slot outside the top ten in the Symetra Tour’s Order of Merit ranking list, but says she is still immensely proud of her achievement and that she is already thinking about 2014.
The former Island Games medallist said: ‘I was heart-broken when I found out I was 11th. It was a really long three days waiting for the results after missing the cut and I tried to keep myself busy.
‘I had an idea of what was happening, I tried to keep positive throughout,’ she said. ‘Now I’ve had a bit of time to think, yes, I’m disappointed but looking back I’ve had a really good year.’
