Day three of the summer meeting belonged to Le Cheminant as he shot a near perfect 75.14 from 200yards to win the Jesse Boot.

He followed that up by shooting a 149/150 to claim second in the 1000yard shoot and a 75.13 to finish second again, this time from 900 yards.

The conclusion of day three saw David Armstrong on 597.94 and Archie Whicher on 596.83 trailing Le Cheminant’s 599.102 in the grand aggregate.

The final day started with David Young claiming the Shipstone Trophy with a score of 75.14 in difficult light winds.

However it was back to winning ways for Le Cheminant as he won the 300 yard aggregate with a score of 160.27 and the 500 yard aggregate with a score of 159.25

The last competition of the Prize Meeting, the McCartney, was shot at 600 yards and tied between David Armstrong and David Young with a score of 75.12. Armstrong won the tie shoot.

Armstrong’s McCartney win however was not enough to overhaul Le Cheminant in the Grand Aggregate as he only managed a score of 821.122 compared to Le Cheminant’s 822.130. Archie Whicher finished third on 817.106.
