With Aldershot bringing in three full internationals to bolster their team as they looked to claim the title themselves, it was the Channel Islands who won the match to claim the SWL title overall.
CI coach Andrew Winnie said: ‘It was a huge team effort and well done to everyone. Aldershot added three internationals to their line up in a bid to take the title but our strength in depth got us home in the end.
‘It was a challenging day and our team is full of spirit and they competed very well.’
