Wanderers’ late flourish

Wanderers appeared to be heading towards a defeat when Bradley Russell scored from almost on a goal-line midway through the second half, but two excellent close-range saves from Island squad goalkeeper Jimmy Styles kept Grouville at bay before the visitors hit back.

Defender Matt Rondel side-footed home a volley from six yards to put Wanderers level, then just minutes later Kamen Nafkha nodded Wanderers ahead, again from almost on the goal line.
