The England international will join a strong squad for the tournament, as the Aviva Premiership side look to better last season’s semi-final place.
Bath are in pool C along with fierce rivals Gloucester, Worcester Warriors and Exeter Chiefs, so the addition of the towering three-quarter, capped by England at sevens as well as at Saxons and World Cup level, shows how keen they are to get the season off to a good start.
The pool matches will take place on tomorrow at Gloucester’s Kingsholm stadium.
