Two goals in the first 13 minutes of the second half, from Marco Vieira and Neil Langdon, secured the Saints a 2-0 victory sending Trinity down for the first time in 13 years.

Vieira capitalised from 18 yards to fire St Ouen ahead six minutes after the resumption before Langdon made it 2-0 when he nodded home from six yards. Langdon failed to complete the game after he was cautioned in the 82nd and 85th minutes to be dismissed by referee Peter Smith.

Trinity and the already relegated First Tower will be replaced by St Brelade and St Lawrence next season.
