In blustery conditions, the Island side beat the visitors 17-12, gaining revenge for their defeat last year and making it 14 wins in succession.
Jersey gained the upper hand in the first half, opening up a 12-0 lead before Cinderford scored a try in stoppage time to bring the half-time score to 12-7.
Jersey scored their third try early in the second half, but Cinderford kept up the pressure and were rewarded with another try after 30 minutes to bring the score to 17-12 and provide another nail-biting finish.
This result and others in the league on Saturday mean that Jersey remain top and are now five points clear of Ealing Trailfinders and Fylde.
