Head coach Gary Norman said that the generous sponsorship from trust company Hawksford, including the provision of a number of indoor footballs, made possible the move that was vital to the squad’s development.

The training is especially important as the squad hope to take part in more UK competitions next year. As well as continuing to attend the prestigious Harrogate LD tournament and a growing event in Bournemouth, Special Olympics Great Britain have announced that they have organised a series of games in Reading.
