Victoria College 1sts end Hautlieu's unbeaten run

Neither goalkeeper was really called into action in the first half as the hard work and creativity of both sides were nullified by excellent defending.

College broke the deadlock four minutes after the restart with a superb individual goal from captain Robert Cuming who evaded three defenders before beating keeper John Beswick. The equaliser came from Stuart Bevan just ten minutes later.

College clinched the winner when Jamie Bolton took a quick push in from the side-line to Hugo Powell who found Cuming to score his second reverse stick goal.
