New crackdown on tax cheat companies

Jersey’s reputation for tax avoidance once again came under the spotlight last month when several national newspapers reported celebrities – including Hollywood actor Mel Gibson, former England footballer Bryan Robson and ex-motorbike world champion Valentino Rossi – had used aggressive tax avoidance schemes based in Jersey.
