A WOMAN who “works tirelessly” as volunteer director for the Art in the Frame Foundation and the Harbour Gallery Jersey has been nominated for Volunteer/Fundraiser of the Year.
Pat Robson is described by her nominator, Karen Behan, as someone with a “a driven and focused work ethic” after the gallery first opened in 2002 as a window to the foundation.
Ms Behan said: “Throughout her generosity of spirit and dedicated work ethic (she is at the gallery seven days a week almost every week) has seen the gallery continue to go from strength to strength and give the many talented artists Jersey has produced somewhere to work and display their work and be supported.”
The gallery also acts as a workshop for all ages – from children to grandparents – and plays a “vital role” in adult mental health.
Ms Behan added: “Her never give up ever attitude is also a great inspiration to those who work in the arts.”
