A RETIRED educator who recorded images of a 15-year-old girl’s underwear as she rode the bus has been spared jail.
Dennis Sale (74) committed the voyeurism offence on 23 June 2025 while riding as a passenger on the number 15 bus.
The defendant previously pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to recording the video for his own sexual gratification. He appeared in court for sentencing today.
Relief Magistrate Rebecca Morley-Kirk handed Sale 120 hours of community service – equivalent to six months in prison – for the “abhorrent” offence.
