A 78-year-old female driver died in hospital on Sunday after being involved in collision with another vehicle near Silver Springs Care Home in St Brelade.
Police were called at 2.50pm to the accident, which involved two vehicles in Route des Genêts. The road was closed between Mont Sohier and Petite Route des Mielles.
Only one driver was taken to hospital.
The police said that specialist officers were working with her family and the investigation into the cause of the collision was continuing.
