A PEDESTRIAN required hospital treatment after being involved in a collision with a car in St Aubin.

The incident happened at around 2.40pm yesterday at Mont Les Vaux, the road heading uphill out of the village, with the road closed as emergency services went to the scene.

A police spokesperson said the pedestrian was taken to the General Hospital before being discharged later in the day after treatment, and that the road had subsequently been reopened at approximately 7pm.
