BERGERAC stars are set to descend upon the Island once again – with plans being formed for a première screening in Jersey before the second series airs.
Executive producer Brian Constantine said that those behind the reimagined detective drama were hoping to “emulate the success” of the season one première, which took place at Cineworld in February.

The venue for the season two première has not yet been revealed.
The previous event drew a number of cast members to the red carpet, including Irish actor Damien Molony, who plays the lead role of Jim Bergerac.
Commissioned by BBC-owned broadcaster UKTV, the reboot offers a modern take on the iconic 80s detective drama created by Robert Banks Stewart.
It is due to return to U and U&DRAMA, with Banijay Rights handling international distribution.
Filming for the new series, which is expected to air in early 2026, concluded in October.
Mr Constantine said: “Plans are under way for a première screening in Jersey ahead of the season two broadcast and we very much hope to emulate the success of the screening held on the Island earlier this year.”
He continued: “It feels entirely appropriate that Jersey should be among the first to celebrate the new season coming to air.
“I’m very much looking forward to the stars of the show descending on the Island once again, and I hope Jersey will be as excited as I am to join Jim Bergerac on his next adventure.”

Mr Constantine also hailed the “incredible support” shown by Islanders.
“Without them, there would be no Bergerac and we are hugely grateful for that support,” he added.
