AN alleged assault involving an 11-year-old boy riding a bike and a man in his 40s has led police to issue an appeal for witnesses.

The incident happened at about 4.50pm on Sunday 30 November at the junction of Rouge Bouillon and La Pouquelaye, near the entrance to College Gardens. The man was described by police as white and bald. Several passers-by were reported to have intervened during the incident.
